First-hand experiences

A federal statistic cannot tell you what the process felt like.

We are collecting structured accounts from charging parties to identify patterns that official aggregate reports cannot show.

No story is automatically published. Submissions enter a private review queue. We will not publish names, employers, sensitive details or allegations without editorial review and appropriate permission.
What we collect

Same questions. Comparable data.

Each submission captures process details that can later be aggregated while preserving the difference between self-reported experience and verified evidence.

Intake

When did you first contact the EEOC, and when was your intake interview?

Investigation

Were you interviewed? Were witnesses contacted? Were documents requested?

Resolution

Mediation, settlement, cause finding, dismissal, Right to Sue, or still pending?

Impact

Did delay affect employment, finances, health, evidence, legal options, or ability to obtain relief?

Public story library

Verified and permissioned stories will appear here.

The site is intentionally launching without invented testimonials. Once contributors opt in and a story has been reviewed, anonymized or named accounts can be published with clear labels showing what is self-reported and what is independently documented.

Editorial rule

We do not need exaggeration.

A credible record of long waits, thin investigations, missed evidence, or inconsistent processes is more useful to Congress than a page full of unverified accusations.

01

Personal accounts are labeled personal accounts.

02

Documents are described only when publication is lawful and appropriate.

03

Employers and individuals receive careful treatment when allegations are disputed.

04

Aggregate survey findings disclose self-selection and sample-size limitations.
